The famous music director of Kannada cinema Gurukiran has decided not to file any suit against the Tamil film ‘Chandramukhi’ music director Vidyasagar for retaining some of the background music and the “Ra Ra….” song tune of his ‘Aptha Mithra’ the runaway hit in Kannada.

As a matter of fact Gurukiran is not having the habit of picking tunes. From ‘Mani Chitrathal’ he has not taken anything. Asked as to why he is keeping mum, he says the great respect he has on superstar Rajanikanthji made him to think like this.

“Rajnikanthji is a gem of a man. He spoke to me after ‘Aptha Mithra’ became a hit and he decided to remake it in Tamil. He had immensely liked my music in the film. I respect him a lot”: says a magnanimous Gurukiran.

“I know that Vidyasagar has once filed case against R.P.Patnaik when he copied a tune from the former’s composition for a Telugu film” adds Guru Kiran.
