The morning of the Chithirai Thirunal (Tamil New Year) saw the launch of two audios in the city. The Kamala Theatres wore a festive look with the launch of the audio of New Line Talkies’ Arumbameesai Kurumbapaarvai.
Bharathi Raja and Vairamuthu released the audio in the presence of Vasanthabalan, Susindran, Anjali, Mahesh and Pandi. The event’s highlight was a tiny tot who was the compere of the show spouting pure Tamil and welcoming guests on stage and talking about the film, eliciting the admiration of the chief guests.
The film’s trailor and three songs shows a rustic script by newcomer Vetriveeran who formerly assisted Bharathi Raja. “I came here straight from the airport and I am very happy to attend this function. I was really surprised when Vetri told me he has already made a film. The title is really attractive,” said Bharathi Raja who also highly praised Angadi Theru complimenting director Vasanthabalan and heroine Anjali.
Vairamuthu said, “Vetriveeran is aptly carrying forward the baton of Bharathi Raja. Had there been more funds he would have done an even better job.” Susindran lauded the investment of the producers without which good cinema by newcomers could not flourish.
The second audio launched in the city was that of K Creation’s Kathalagi. Union Minister MK Azhagiri launched the audio in the presence of Vairamuthu, RK Selvamani, VC Guhanathan, Sivasakthi Pandian, AR Raihana ( the music director of the film) and others. Said Azhagiri, “ Normally I listen more to old film music but after seeing these songs with the Vairamuthu Raihana combination, I feel I should also listen to music of modern and new films.”
The film has new several new faces in the cast and is produced by KR Vishwa.
