Aamir, Mukesh Ambani among the big winners at NDTV Profit awards

The NDTV Profit business awards were handed out at a colorful function by the Chief Guest Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

Among the winners who made it to the grand event were the normally awards-averse Aamir Khan and a host of big guns from India Inc, including Mukesh Ambani and NR Narayana Murthy.

"Such awards don't come easily. It is a result of years of hard work. Indian economy has now come of age and has a towering presence. Indian economy is back on the growth path. Our GDP growth figures are truly reassuring. India will be back on the growth path of 9% in coming days. I am glad to see our entrepreneurs have risen to the occasion."," Finance Minister Mukherjee said in his address.
