New Delhi, Feb 14 (IANS) The all-women coach in Delhi Metro's Line 6, between Badarpur to Central Secretariat, will be the last and not the first in the train from Saturday, an official said.
The trains running in the reverse direction will continue to have their first coach reserved for women, the official said Thursday.
The change was being introduced to avoid inconvenience to women commuters while deboarding at interchange station Central Secretariat, the official said Thursday.
"From Saturday, on Line 6 women commuters who travel from Badarpur towards Central Secretariat should board the last coach, as that would be the women's-only coach. But lady passengers travelling from Central Secretariat towards Badarpur should note that first coach will continue to be the reserved coach for ladies as before," he said.
According to Delhi Metro the change in the women coach is made only in Line 6.
