Bharat Forge`s overseas shopping spree

Baba Kalyani and Bharat Forge have done it again. The company has set out on a global acquisition spree, which never seems to die down. On June 25, 2005, Bharat Forge acquired Federal Forge Inc, a Michigan-based company for $ 9.1 million.

The company is involved in designing and manufacture of forged steel components for the automotive industry.
