Bangalore, Feb 8 (IANS) Around 750 business leaders from India and abroad Friday began a two-day discussion here on "Corporate Culture and Spirituality".

IT major Infosys chairman K. V. Kamath told the gathering that "an organization's DNA is its culture and one needs to fine tune it in a holistic manner".

Articulation of corporate social responsibility and transparency for common good is the key to change," he said at the meet organized jointly by Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) and The Art of Living (AoL) in association with World Forum for Ethics in Business.

In his address, AoL founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said "business and spirituality go hand in hand. In spirituality, we tap into the world of intuition which is an important aspect of success in business".

Jo Leinen, member of the European parliament from Germany, said that enterprises were "responsible for their impact on the society and that businessmen integrate parliament, social, environmental and cultural aspects of a society".

Others who addressed the conference included union minister K. H. Muniyappa and FKCCI president Shiva Shanmugam.
