Cut in production budgets
Mumbai: Although fewer Bollywood films may release in 2010, the liquidity crunch that has hit the world's second largest film industry is making film production cheaper.
The slowdown has brought some sanity in production budgets, say film industry people. Movie making is set to be cheaper by around 30 per cent this year as most of the actors are expected to take a cut in fees by striking innovative pricing deals with their producers.
A majority of the films made in this year will hit the box office in 2010.
