Dell’s Engineers Club India Launch also saw the presence of Mr. Edwin Ng, Director, Enterprise Channel APJ, at Dell who commented “One big step that we took to showcase our commitment to our channel partner community was the launch of Global Commercial Channel (GCC) team, which was formed to provide our channel partners with a single point of contact within Dell. Remaining committed to our channel, we have launched various programs and trainings that aim at their overall development. The Engineers Club in India is another such initiative that will enabling our partners to grow and we hope to replicate the program is other markets as well.”
Commenting on the announcement Pamela Lim, Director, Enterprise Enablement and Certification Programs for APJ said “Dell Engineers club is another demonstration of our commitment towards developing and enabling our Channel Partner Community. Engineers Club’s primary objectives are not only to deliver customized education and training to its members but also provide a platform for networking and exchanging of best of breeds practices and ideas.. We are thus excited to be launching this club in India and we are confident that this club will be well received here as it was in China.
Dell offers over 100,000 training sessions a year to all partners globally and the Dell’s Engineers Club will further build on this initiative to invest in the development of individual engineers and partners. The club will open ways for technical discussions with Dell and industry experts who will share their views on industry trends and also give feedback on Dell’s IT solutions that will help in the design of future technology solutions. The program will be conducted via Instructor Led Training/ Classroom Training and via webinars and will also involve monthly solutions broadcasts and product & program updates on technical topics at various levels. The members of the club will also be invited to virtual and face–to-face training events with opportunities to further enhance their capabilities.
Dell’s Global Commercial Channel (GCC) division retains around 1700 commercial relationships in India. The division takes care of programs and policies relevant to channels, which cover all types of business entities such as public companies and large-/medium-sized companies.
