Elgi acquires US firm

Elgi Equipments Ltd, a manufacturer of air compressors and automobile service station equipment, has acquired 100 per cent stake in Patton’s Inc. The company did not disclose the value of the deal. The acquisition, advised by MAPE Advisory Group, was done through Elgi’s wholly-owned US subsidiary, Elgi Compressors USA Inc.
Pattons, founded in 1942, is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is primarily engaged in the business of distributing industrial compressors and air products.
