`Fat finger` phenomenon

The `fat finger` trades are not an unusual phenomenon in the markets. But the two recent ones, on January 5, 2006 to be precise, across Tokyo and Mumbai blew a hole to the tune of about Rs 55 crore for two brokerage firms.
