It has been three years since Google released its web browser and according to data available in November 2011, there is finally a doubt about who is No 2 and who is No 3.
While StatCounter says Chrome is marginally ahead of Mozilla, Net Applications says that it's still a good four percentage points behind.
Now Google can argue that it can now take on Internet Explorer head on.
However the fact remains that Google is just about competing with Mozilla after trying for three years.
The very same Mozilla it must be remembered that's struggling to even touch annual revenues of $100 million as against Google's revenues which runs into billions of dollars.
