Lan Mark, a retail chain of stores for consumer durables — now re-branded as White Mart— plans to add 300 shops across south India by 2015.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday Jerry Mathew, managing director, said the number of stores in Tamil Nadu would be increased to 50 from the current 25 by next year. By 2015, the total number of stores in the southern states will be 500, he said.
The group also plans to enter FMCG and convenience store segments in the south.
He said the company’s next target was Andhra Pradesh and later they would enter Karnataka.
