Hyderabad-headquartered AP Mahesh Co-operative Urban Bank has deployed VMware Zimbra collaboration suite — an enterprise-class email, calendar and collaboration solution — to replace its existing messaging solution.
The bank has deployed the technology across its 39 branches pan-India.
“With the growth in operational activities and growing complexity with limited support, administering multiple mail servers for the bank’s branches was a major challenge. We have deployed this solution to address the challenges we are facing with our existing mail environment,” said Umesh Asawa, managing director and chief executive, AP Mahesh Bank.
The Zimbra platform would help in saving capital and operational expenses without compromising functionality and help in improving performance, he added.
