Mega M&As of the decade

World Inc witnessed mergers and acquisitions across a wide range of sectors, ranging from banking, pharma, steel and auto. Indian companies expanded their global reach and outbid some of the global corporates in their acquisition battle.

Notable among the acquisitions were the ones done by the Tata Group - the acquisition of Corus and Jaguar and Land Rover.
