Binani Industries Ltd turned out to be the best performing scrip during the year with an appreciation of 512 per cent. The scrip is currently quoting at Rs 350 levels. The company reported a net profit of Rs.33.99 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 4.25 crore in the same period last year. The subsidiaries of BIL have also posted impressive results.
