With chase games like Grid and Burnout Paradise seeing a steady rise of fans, the ever popular street racing game Need for Speed (NFS) has to pull up its socks especially after its Pro-Street turned out to be a quite a dampener. Sandeep Balachandran tests NFS's new game, Undercover, and tells us whether it will get the much loved game back on track

With the release of Need for Speed - Undercover, the developers are finally beginning to lose ground on the game that was once considered to be the god of street racing. Last year the developers came out with NFS-Pro Street that took a diversion from normal street racing and put more focus on track-based racing, threw in a lot of tuning options and focused more on race events than city exploration and cop chase.

Let's not forget that Pro-Street didn't quite grab the attention of NFS fans which forced them to redraw and rethink the games entire design structure which finally brought out NFS-Undercover.
