The constitution of the Indian car market is dynamic and to stay ahead in the race where carmakers across the board keep launching new products. This year has been the year of launches with various new cars coming up to Indian showrooms every other month. And there are many more scheduled to be launched till the end of this year.
The launch of cars like Skoda Yeti, Toyota Etios, Hyundai Santa Fe et al is on the cars and attracting a lot of attention. However, there are some other new launches and re-launches that are being planned out. So, here is adding three more to the list:
Hyundai i10 re-launchThe bestseller model of Hyundai has too much competition from the likes of Ford Figo, Chevrolet Beat, Nissan Micra etc. According to media reports, Hyundai is bringing out an i10 version with several new features. The new Hyundai i10 will have a new 1.2 litre VTVT (variable valve timing) engine that is a good performer and gives good fuel efficiency.
The front of the car resembles Hyundai's Avante sedan while the rear is curvy. The car has new headlamps and tail lights, new bumper and front grill, adjustable head rests, indicators on ORVMs and body coloured door handles and moulding added to the new car. The new i10 also has music control on the steering wheel along with blue-tooth connectivity. This new model would show the door to the existing 1.2 litre Kappa engine launched in October 2007.
