Some images of style from Hollywood remain etched in ones memory for their sheer classiness. Who can forget Nicholas Cage walking out of a black limo, his overcoat billowing in the wind on the tarmac as he climbs into a waiting private jet. Or the scene in Pretty Woman where Richard Gere gifts Julia Roberts a stunning diamond necklace and they then fly out together in a private jet to attend a concert.
And then again who can forget how John Travolta's real life emulates reel life with his sprawling home in Florida housing two private jets, including a Boeing 707. He is a licensed pilot and actually flies to work, taking-off and landing his aircraft at the airstrip in his backyard.
But, Hollywood's stories aren't too filmy in a country where private aviation has already grown to phenomenal heights (literally too).
