The cars that were unveiled ranged from hatchbacks to sports SUVs and even luxury hybrid premium sedans, such as the BMW 7 series ActiveHybrid, Porsche Macan, BMW X5 Expedition trim and the Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG.
The bevy of launches was a result of the improving sentiments in the auto market and growth in domestic car sales. Here's a closer look at the cars that made it to the market in July.
This was easily the most anticipated and promoted car of the year. The Mobilio MPV is ideal for individual requirement, as well as a perfect family vehicle. The Mobilio is based on Honda's philosophy of "Man Maximum, Machine Minimum".
Launched at Rs 6.49 lakh for the base petrol, the Mobilio is expected to give tough competition to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova. For the diesel variant, Honda has priced the Mobilo at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) offering a best-in-class mileage of 24.2km/l.
The MPV has ABS, dual airbags, sliding second row, reclining third row and roof mounted AC vents. According to reports, bookings for the Mobilio have crossed 9000 units making it an overnight hit.
