Sky rocketing fuel prices coupled with environmental concerns have led a small section of car makers think of bringing in alternative fuel and electric cars. Till now, India has only one electric car. In an attempt to expand the choice, American automaker General Motors is all set to showcase Chevrolet Beat Electric in New Delhi. The launch would take some more time.

From the same manufacturer, Chevrolet Beat Diesel is also expected to be launched soon. With this line up, Chevrolet will become a brand to have a car available in all variants. Chevrolet has already launched the Chevrolet Beat LPG recently.
