US Economy & Jobs in 2005: Optimism

Economy overview
It was a good year, indeed. Better than some expected. Now there are hopes that the US economy will keep growing moderately in 2005 as well.
The economy grew at a 4 per cent annual rate from July through September with personal spending accounting for nine- tenths of the increase.
