he Indian automobile industry witnessed the beginning of a revolutionary trend when the Mahindra e2o was launched on 18th March this year. It is not that this is the first electric vehicle to hit the Indian roads.
However, no other automobile manufacturer has introduced an electric vehicle and promised to launch a few more models in the next couple of years, as Mahindra Reva has done. It looks like aspiring car buyers are going to have increased options to choose from.
Hopes are high that Mahindra will make it happen, so far as their venture to redefine the 'future of mobility' in India is concerned. However, there is always hope against hope, and in this case, it is not without reason. Several attempts have been made in the last decade to introduce and popularise electric vehicles. Due to several reasons, dreams of eco-friendly drives did not materialise. Now that the first four-seat EV has been launched, here's another possibility.
