A giant splits

The Hero group and Japan's Honda Motor Co have on Thursday formally ended their 26-year-old association which had seen become the world's largest manufacturer of two-wheelers.

The Hero group has announced that it will buy Honda's 26% stake.

Both the groups will now go it alone in India - Hero Honda now as Hero Motors possibly.
