Thousands of automobile enthusiasts thronged to witness the latest models of their favourite cars and bikes at the three-day Auto Expo recently hosted in Bangalore.
The three-day Auto Expo that concluded on Sunday exhibited some attractive brands of cars and bikes from across the world.
On view was a wide range of automobiles on display with price tags of rupees two lakhs to 3.5 crore.
Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Land Rover, Toyota, Skoda, Mahindra, Honda and Tata were among the models showcased at the event.
The expo, which was a venture of Relio Quick, happened to be the third edition.
"The major motive behind organising Auto Mall is that the buyers can get to see all the cars and bikes of different companies under one roof. Over here they can compare vehicles and they need not go to different showrooms," said Sandeep Kapoor, Managing Director of Relio Quick.
"There is finance facility also available here; therefore all the customers can compare all the cars under one roof, have test drive and choose the product they want to buy," added Kapoor.
A number of special events like seminars, races, motorbike-stunts, buyer-seller meets and interactive fora were also part of the three-day gala event.
Seeja Mathew, who is reportedly one of the first persons in India to own a Harley Davidson expressed her happiness at the event and was seen taking a test-drive of the latest motorbikes at the show.
"It is amazing experience and I would request all the women who know how to ride a bike and to get on the bike and feel, how good it feels being on the road and getting all the extra attention. So, I think it's really good," said Seeja Mathew.
A good number of automobile engineering students also participated to display their designs in the show and a job-fair was also held to provide employment opportunities to people seeking job in the auto sector.
A variety of vintage car were also on display in the three-day expo. (ANI)
