Bangladesh FX reserves hit record in December

DHAKA, Jan 1 (Reuters) - Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves rose to a record high of $12.75 billion at the end of December from $11.75 billion in November, the central bank said on Tuesday, thanks to an improving trade balance and strong remittances.

The reserves were also up from $9.63 billion a year earlier. (Reporting by Ruma Paul; editing by Patrick Graham)
