Engineering equipment firm Bharat Heavy Electricals and a unit of GE have signed a 10-year licensing pact to manufacture oil and gas compressors at the Indian firm's facility in south India.
The equipment will be sold in India and south Asia, GE said in a statement. It did not disclose financial details of the transaction.
