At that price, the Mate 20 Pro surpasses the price of a Samsung Galaxy A9. 2018 has been a great year for Huawei, (except for the detention of it's CFO Meng Wangzhou in Canada) with the smartphone-maker surpassing Apple in becoming the biggest smartphone seller in the World. No brownie points for guessing the pole-holder, Samsung.
Released in October 2018, and two months later for India markets, the Mate 20 Pro's functionalities are touted as well-placed and balanced to claim the flagship pole. And honestly, we will not be surprised if the Mate 20 Pro emerges as the best designed Android Phone of 2018. And, it certainly has the specs going with it.
In terms of specs, the 6.39 inch long display houses the Kirin 980 chipset paired with 8 GB RAM (specs-hunters could be disappointed, since the Samsung A10 could come with a 12 GB RAM). The triple-camera (Yawn! Samsung already has tetra-pack) setup boasts of a gargantuan 40 megapixels. This is the perfect beast to show off to those DLSR-fans. Huawei has not disappointed those selfie-ish hunters with its 24 MP front camera, a 26 mm wide f/2.0 lens, executing a selfie quite well. (More on the camera mode, wide angle and macro-shots in later slides).
A mammoth 4200 mAH battery, 256 GB internal storage and availability in rich colors makes this an eye-catchy deal. Although the pundits might have their own reasons from calling this the flagship of 2018, we leave it upon the audiences to certify. Do take a glance and drop in your comments.
