Dressing up for Mrs Sarkozy

Arun Jaitley, the leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, is generally seen wearing colourful kurta-pajamass. But last week, when French President Nicolas Sarkozy was in town, Jaitley switched over to a smart western wear, including a suit. As Jaitley entered his party office, other leaders noticed the change. Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj couldn’t resist but ask, "Arunji, how come you are in a suit today and not those kurtas?" Jaitley’s reply was quick and short: "Boss, Carla Bruni (Sarkozy’s wife) is in town!"
