Bhubaneswar, March 28 (IANS) The East Coast Railway Thursday said it will run 10 pairs of weekly special trains till the last week of June to cater to the extra summer rush.
At least 155,314 additional berths would be created with the running of these special trains, a senior official of the Bhubaneswar-headquartered railway zone told IANS.
The special trains will run between Bhubaneswar and New Delhi, Puri and Shirdi, Puri and Sealdah, Puri and Asansol, Visakhapatnam and Quilon, and Visakhapatnam and Renigunta, he said.
Special trains will also run between Visakhapatnam and Nanded, Hatia and Yeswantpur, and Santragachhi and Chennai Central from and through its jurisdiction, the official added.
