ECoR adds coaches in 13 trains for summer season

To minimise the rush of passengers in the ongoing summer season, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to add extra coaches in 13 trains.

Puri-Ahmedabad express, Puri-Durg express, Bhubaneswar-Chennai express and Bhubaneswar-Yesvantpur express trains will have one more three tier air conditioned coach and one more sleeper class coach each during May-June period.

Trains such as Puri-Okha, Bhubaneswar-Pune , Howrah-Koraput and Inter-city trains such as Bhubaneswar-Baripada, Bhubaneswar-Bolangir will have one additional AC coache. Puri-Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar-Tirupati and Puri-Howrah express trains will be given one extra sleeper class coach during May-June period, said a release.

The EcoR will also run special trains for students who want to go to Bangalore to appear in the joint entrance examination on 8 May.
