Firstsource to hire 500 in Hubli unit over 2-3 months

Firstsource Solutions plans to hire 500 employees at its BPO centre in Hubli, Karnataka, over the next two to three months, an official source told Reuters on Monday.

The firm plans to hire staff to service two telecom clients, the source said.

The company started its Hubli centre in 2007 with 200 employees.

Shares of the Mumbai-based firm, which the market values at 8.35 billion rupees, closed down 3.09 percent in a weak Mumbai market.
