Gurgaon, Feb 10 (IANS) Four people, including two workers of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, were booked for stealing over 10 tonnes of steel and rubber from the car maker's unit here, police said Sunday.
Manoj Kumar and Ramesh, employed at the Manesar plant of the company, and two security guards, Balbir Singh and Ramesh Kumar, also posted at the unit, were booked for stealing steel, rubber and plastic, said a police officer.
Joginder Singh, a Maruti official, gave a police complaint on the raw material theft.
"The two workers hail from Uttar Pradesh while the security guards come from a town in Haryana. We have registered a case against all of them," said investigating officer Ram Kumar from Manesar Police Station, adding that the accused were on the run.
