
The government will borrow more during the first half of the fiscal year that begins April 1 than in the second half, a top policy adviser said on Tuesday.
The government plans to borrow a record 4.57 trillion rupees ($100 billion) in 2010/11 and Montek Singh Ahluwalia, deputy chairman of the Planning Commission said India would have no difficulty in managing this.
