Delhi-based Resident Commissioners of eight northeastern States also attended the meeting.

To familiarise the people with the GST, Singh said that the officials who get well versed in GST and its rollout procedure should in turn function as resource persons and collaborate with the GST Commissioners' offices spread all over in conducting awareness for businessmen, traders, members of the industry and other stakeholders.
