HDFC ERGO General Insurance has launched a new plan allowing a customer a larger sum insured limit at lower cost.
The new policy, 'Health Suraksha Top Up' comes into action once the sum insured under the existing policy is exhausted, offering an additional sum (insured) covering medical expenses beyond a threshold limit of the existing health insurance plan to a customer. The plan is available for the sum insured options of Rs. 5 lakhs, Rs. 7.5 lakhs and Rs. 10 Lakhs.
Customers can choose between one or two-year policy tenure policy. They can also avail tax benefits. The policy is aimed at salaried employees with an existing health cover.
