HDFC has announced that it will raise about Rs 500 crore by issuing rupee denominated bonds to overseas investors. The issue will open on October 14 and end on the same day.
Earlier, in July this year, the housing finance company had raised Rs 3000 crore through rupee denominated bonds. The issue was well received, getting oversubscribed by 4.3 times.
HDFC shares are currently trading at Rs 1357, down 2.5% from previous closing price. The stock had hit a high of Rs 1463 in the first week of September this year.
