Hotel Leela net rises to Rs 9 crore

Hotel Leelaventure today reported a near nine-fold jump in net profit at Rs 9.24 crore for the quarter ended June 30, as against a profit of Rs 1.04 crore reported in the same quarter a year earlier. Net sales during the reporting quarter grew by 25 per cent to Rs 104.07 crore, as compared to Rs 83.13 crore reported in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
The company has stated that favourable turnaround in the tourism space such as return of international travellers to India has collectively resulted in the robust growth.
