HTC's chief executive Peter Chou has denied media reports that Apple takes 6-8 dollars per Android phone HTC sells.
Apple and HTC agreed a 10-year licensing deal earlier this month, resolving protracted arguments over alleged patent breaches.
Some reports, however, suggested that the settlement involved a payment per Android device sold of at least 6 dollars from HTC to Apple.
Chou called those reports 'outrageous', and said his HTC Corp was happy with the deal, the Telegraph reports.
"I think that these estimates are baseless and very, very wrong. It is a outrageous number, but I'm not going to comment anything on a specific number," the paper quoted him, as saying.
According to the paper, Chou also said that he is 'happy' with his company's recent Apple settlement.
"I believe we have a very, very happy settlement and a good ending," he said. (ANI)
