. It is evident, as the vehicle has been spotted being tested at several places. The makers would be rolling out this model within few months, as expected. Currently, Hyundai is selling the second generation of the premium SUV in India
, available in both automatic and manual options.
As revealed by the pictures captured, it seems that the new 2014 Santa Fe will get Hyundai's iconic fluidic design. The vehicle has been first caught testing in South India, close to its Chennai plant. Moreover, the new Santa Fe that was showcased at the New York Motor Show last year, was yet to be launched in India till this year though it had already been introduced in several other markets. The vehicle would be assembled at its Chennai plant and so would be priced between Rs 22-26- lakhs in India.
The vehicle is equipped with 2.2-litre CRDi diesel engine that belts out a maximum of 194bhp along with 422Nm of peak torque. The engine will be mated with 6-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission, as guessed by the car enthusiasts who have been waiting for this model ever since it has been teased.Text
