India's benchmark 10-year bond yield eased in early trades on Wednesday as global crude oil prices cooled, which will give some relief to the Reserve Bank of India batting resurgent inflation.

The benchmark 10-year bond yield eased 2 basis points to 8.42 percent.

Brent crude oil prices slipped below $108 a barrel on Wednesday as Libya resumed output and as diplomatic talks to eliminate Syria's chemical weapons started which eased worries that crude supply from the Middle East would be at risk.
