Bangalore, Oct 29 (IANS) Indian software services firm Zensar Technologies bagged new deals valued at $21 million (Rs.114 crore) from manufacturing and BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) verticals, the company said Monday.

"Infrastructure and enterprise applications services have been key drivers in these recent wins," Zensar chief executive Nitin Parab said in a statement here.

The Pune-based software vendor has built a new business pipeline to generate $160 million with four multi-million deals across three geographies.

"Our vertically focused solutions have begun to show substantial traction in new applications and upgrades," Parab said.

One of the deals is a global data centre services project for a European telecom infrastructure manufacturer. The project envisages 24x7 data services for Oracle and HP servers.

"We have been selected as a preferred IT partner for the telecom major's global Oracle implementation, business intelligence and support business by two leading US-based manufacturing firms," Parab said.

The company has also become an IT partner to the banking sector in South Africa on its selection by one of its largest banks for implementing, testing and customisation of its product.

"We have added a number of marquee clients with a good pipeline in all markets for data centre, end user, compliance and security services," company's global infrastructure management business head Vivek Gupta said in the statement.

The RPG group company ranks among the country's top 15 software services providers, with operations across the US, Europe, Gulf region and Asia-Pacific and employs about 7,000 techies.
