Max Financial Services plunges on bulk deals

Max Financial Services Limited (MFSL) shares plunged to Rs 615 this morning on unusually huge volumes.

The MFSL counter witnessed some large deals today. In early trades this morning, a bulk deal with a quantity of nearly 90,000 shares changed hands at Rs 626 a share at the stroke of the opening bell. Soon thereafter, around 82,700 shares changed hands at a price of Rs 630.20 a share, closely followed by sales of around 5.27 lakh shares (at Rs 634.20 a share) and 1.23 lakh shares (at Rs 637 a share). While the first two deals took place on BSE, the third and fourth were done in the National Stock Exchange.

At Rs 631, Max Financial Services is now down 3% from its previous close. Overall, more than 18.5 million shares have changed hands at the counter so far in the session. On the National Stock Exchange, the counter has clocked a volume of around 3.18 million shares so for today.
