The thumping win of the UPA government in the recent Lok Sabha elections has given more leeway for Team Manmohan Singh to go ahead with reforms. Amidst the economic crisis looming across the world and its cascading affect in India, the forthcoming Budget has wide expectations - ranging from tax breaks to stimulus packages.

The finance minister and his team have already begun their Budget preparations exercise.
