Nalco gets new director

N R Mohanty, general manager (smelter), National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco), Angul has been appointed as the director (projects & technical) of the company on retirement of P K Padhi from February 1. Mohanty, a graduate in mechanical engineering from National Institute of Rourkela in 1980, started his career from Larsen & Toubro (L&T). He had also worked in Bharat Aluminum Company Limited(Balco) before joining Nalco in December 1986. He has held different positions in company’s smelter plant and corporate office. Mohanty has rich and varied experience of more than 30 years in the aluminum industry. He has also been conferred with several awards.
