Hyderabad, Dec 18 (IANS) Nuziveedu Seeds Limited, India's leading seeds company, has received BioAgri Company of the Year Award 2012, a statement said Tuesday.
The company's chief operating officer (COO) Ramesh Viswanathan received the award at the 10th Annual Biospectrum-ABLE Awards ceremony held in Bangalore Monday.
A company statement here said it won the award for the fourth time, and for the third consecutive year.
The Biospectrum-ABLE Awards were conferred on the basis of Industry Survey conducted by BioSpectrum along with Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises - ABLE in June 2012.
"It is indeed a proud moment for us to be chosen for the fourth time, which reflects the spirit of innovation and leadership traits of our team. It is our endeavour to continue providing quality and affordable seeds to the farmers," said managing director Prabhakar Rao.
Nuziveedu Seeds offers more than 340 hybrid seeds and varieties of 30 field crops and vegetables and its modern technologies to Indian farmers through its extensive sales and distribution network in 17 states.
