Oil ends higher, above $99 a barrel

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

Crude rose $1.07 to finish at $99.41 per barrel.

Gasoline rose 2.95 cents to end at $2.5961 a gallon.

Heating oil fell 1.73 cents to finish at $2.9125 a gallon.

Natural gas fell 14 cents to end at $3.3170 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On the ICE Futures exchange in London:

Brent crude rose 53 cents to finish the day at $108.47 per barrel.
