Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) has posted a drop of 13% in net profit for the third quarter ended December, 2011 at Rs 354 crore as compared to Rs 408 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
During the period, net interest income (NII) was at Rs 1,139 crore.
Gross NPAs grew by 2.92% as compared to 2.95% q-o-q.
Provisions rose by almost double to Rs 381 crore from Rs 192 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, while dipped 21% from previous quarter of Rs 485 crore.
