RBI lifts restriction on FII investment in 2 banks

The Reserve Bank of India said on Wednesday it has removed restrictions on the purchase of shares by foreign investors in Union Bank of India and Karur Vysya Bank as FII holding in the lenders had fallen below the prescribed trigger limit.
