Mumbai: Reliance Industries Ltd has announced the following unaudited results for the quarter ended December 31, 2009:

The company has posted a profit of Rs 4008 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009 as compared with Rs 3462 crore in the same period last year.

Total income has increased to Rs 57364 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009 from Rs 30227 crore in the year-ago period.
