Sony Xperia X1 has arrived

It's one great piece of telemetric hunk. Christened the Xperia X1, which to the rest of the world, presumably means an Xcellent phone. But before we delve into the kit, we're going to do something we usually don't - go easy on this poor chap.

That's because it's still an unpolished prototype, you see. Holding the Xperia in your hand makes you feel of prime worth and importance. It's a bit bulky no doubt, but only in the same way that King Arthur's sword, 'Excalibur' might have been.
